Our short term aim is to get the farm up and running after what appears to be a few years of neglect. The house and outbuildings need a lot of attention. Once this is done I will turn my attention to the rest of the farm. This will include landscaping the grounds and preparing for next year’s planting season. I will also be getting some free range chickens very soon.
I am committed to enhancing the environment especially looking after our native species of insects and amphibians. I see myself as the custodian of my bit of the countryside. I intend to construct a natural habitat to make a haven for creatures as rare as the fire crested newt and place batboxes throughout the woodland. This is just the beginning.
I intend to introduce and champion British rare breeds.
I am really excited and am looking forward to the challange.
